Thermal Spray Zinc Coating

Thermal Spray Zinc Coating

Thermal Spray Zinc Coating offers superior, long-lasting galvanic corrosion protection. Unlike traditional paint, the zinc coating acts sacrificially, oxidizing to protect the underlying steel even if the coating is scratched or mechanically damaged. It is widely used in harsh marine and industrial environments to extend the lifespan of critical infrastructure.

Thermal spray zinc coating (also called zinc metallizing) melts zinc wire and sprays it onto steel to form a dense, sacrificial layer that provides long-term galvanic corrosion protection, with zero curing time. Zinc is anodic to steel, so it corrodes sacrificially to protect the underlying steel, continuing to shield the metal even if the coating is scratched or mechanically damaged. It is widely used on structural steelwork, bridges, offshore platforms, pipelines, and other large infrastructure exposed to harsh marine and industrial environments.
